1989–90 (10-14) — Regional Run

Coach: Fred King

The strongest of the final three seasons. The team opened 0–5 before reeling off six straight wins — including a dramatic double-overtime victory over Cameron (73–70). Advanced through the Sectional at New Martinsville (def. Paden City 65–52, def. Tyler County 42–41) before falling to Wirt County 42–60 in the Regional at Parkersburg.

1990–91 (8-14) — The Transition Year

Coach: Fred King

A transitional season bridging the regional-run squad of 1989–90 and the younger rosters that would follow. The Tigers opened 0–7 — including an overtime loss to Doddridge County (62–67) and a lopsided defeat at St. Marys (45–97) — before rattling off four consecutive wins behind Cameron (72–45), an overtime thriller at Parkersburg Catholic (64–63), Ritchie County, and Cameron again. The season ended with a 54–60 Sectional Tournament loss to Tyler County at New Martinsville.

The most difficult of the three final seasons. The team endured a 12-game losing streak to open the year, including a heartbreaking overtime loss to Clay-Battelle (78–80) in the Sistersville Holiday Tournament. Three wins — over Cameron twice (70–67, 70–66) and Calhoun County (77–51) — provided bright spots. Lost to Tyler County 44–55 in the Sectional.

The final season of basketball in Sistersville High School history. After a slow 0–5 start, the team rallied to win games against Cameron, Ritchie County, Walton, and Valley. The final home game in school history was a 75–59 victory over Valley, and the program’s last game ever was a 54–71 Sectional Tournament loss to Tyler County at New Martinsville.
